One of our service men returned home yesterday morning from a 7 month deployment.  His thoughtful wife had me make him this cake. 

21st Birthday Cake

Made this cake for a girl that is turning 21 today.  Chocolate and vanilla layered cake with vanilla buttercream. 

Dora the Explorer

A little girl named Lyric turned one today and celebrated with her very own custom Dora cake.  Complete with Swiper, the Map, and Backpack.

I made these little baby cakes for the delivery nurses at the hospital my sister gave birth in.

Thank you for visiting my blog.  I am just starting out baking and decorating cakes and am absolutely loving it. Right now I am specializing in children's cakes though I am always looking to expand my creative process outside of bright colors and cartoon figures.

Classic Mickey Mouse Cake

Little Miguel is turning one and he got his very own Mickey Cake.  We designed it so that he could have the Mickey hat as his very own little cake with his name on it.

Kai Lan Birthday

I made a custom Kai Lan cake and cupcake spread for a little girl who turned two yesterday.  I had so much fun making this cake because its one of the first really girly cakes that I have gotten to make.

Lego/ McQueen Birthday Cake

A little guy named Chalen turned 4 today and was surprised with a cake featuring two of his favorite things. Legos and Lightning McQueen. 

Kitty Cat Birthday

There are people out there who do actually celebrate their pets birthdays, me being one of them.  Our cat Dewie turned 6 today so what better way to celebrate than to make a cake in his honor.  Here he is wrapped up in a yarn ball. 

Yo Gabba Gabba Birthday

Today one of my friends little boy turned 3 and we delivered a great surprise.  He loves the Nickelodeon show Yo Gabba Gabba, so I made him a Yo Gabba Gabba cupcake spread and personalized cake with gumpaste toppers.  He also loves vacuums so one of the characters is vacuuming with a gumpaste Dyson.  Too cute. 

Baby Shower Cake

My older sister Katie is expecting her first child in October.  Her baby shower theme was "about to pop", so I made her shower cake around that theme including hand made gumpaste popcorn and a pregnant topper.  I also included a stack of Oreos (her pregnancy food) and her two cats at the bottom of the cake.

First Birthday Cake

One of my girlfriend's little girl Riley turned one last week.  I made her first birthday cake.

Firetruck Cake

I made this cake for my 3 year old who obviously loves firetrucks.
